Condolence Books Update Church Opening Times

Books of condolence will be available in Lymm Village Hall and St Mary’s Church and will be distributed to all local schools and community groups for signing. St. Mary’s church will be open Wednesday 14 September from 2pm to 6pm, Thursday 2.00-5.00pm and Friday 2.00pm- 4.00pm for signing the book, lighting candles and private prayer and reflection.

Lymm Village Hall will be open from 9am to 8pm each day from Friday 9th September for signing until 5pm on the day after the funeral.

An online book of condolence has been opened on the Royal Family website at www.royal.uk.

Church services

Each church will be making their own plans for services however, St Mary’s Church will be holding a civic service on Sunday at 10am.

The local proclamation will be at The Cross in Lymm at 4.30pm.

Flowers and Donations

There are two places to leave flowers:

  • In the Village Hall (open daily 9am to 8pm)

Please make sure there is no plastic cellophane or wrappers on the flowers.

Donations will be taken to provide a longer-term memorial. Cash is accepted at the village hall or donations can be made by bank transfer to Lymm Parish Council using sort code 77-51-08, Account number 13870668, with the reference HM DONATION

Two flags are being flown in Lymm – one at The Cross and one at St Mary’s Church.
