Unfortunately the churchyard wall on the path to the war memorial alongside Lymm Dam has collapsed. It is extremely dangerous so for health and safety reasons that area of the churchyard is now closed to the public. The churchyard is a closed and is the responsibility of Warrington Borough Council who has maintained the churchyard for some years. The council have placed barriers to prevent access. The Diocese of Chester is working closely with Warrington Borough Council to facilitate repairs but it may be take some months before the access is allowed to this part of our churchyard.

I am extremely sorry for the distress this may cause to those who will no longer have access to the graves of their loved ones. I thank you for your patience and assure you every effort is being made to undertake the repairs so you may continue to visit your loved ones graves in the future.
