Reverend Jill Elston was ordained at Chester Cathedral 4 July 2021 and has joined St Mary’as Curate. Reverend Beverley Jameson Rector of St Mary’s said “We are delighted that Jill is joining us she has tremendous skills and talents and will be a great asset to the church and the wider community."

St Mary’s Lymm finances have been affected by the closure of St Mary’s Church Hall due to COVID. In 2019 income from the church hall was £18,847. To the end of November 2020 income was £8,982 around £10,000 short on our usual income. We have also been unable to hold events (e.g. St Mary’s Teas,
